About the Experience

As a full service photography studio, our time together is more than just capturing images together. It is my job to walk you through each step of creation from planning to capture and finally to presentation.

Consultation & Booking

When I meet and speak with potential clients, it is very important to me that we all feel comfortable with working together. We will talk about the details of your day, and what you are looking for in your photography experience. I will then talk to you more about my process, and how it will enhance your wedding day. Most importantly, because we will be spending a lot of time together, we will see if our personalities and expectations are the right fit together.

When everything lines up perfectly, it is time to book! All that is needed to secure your wedding date is a signed contract (that we will go over together), and a non-refundable retainer fee.

Engagement Sessions

All of my wedding clients receive a complimentary engagement session experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to focus on working together before the wedding so that you know what to expect, and so that you feel more comfortable on the wedding day. The engagement session experience included with all of my collections is a very basic photo experience without the glitz and glamour of your wedding day experience, however, we can certainly plan on something more extravagant or stylized. This experience is really up to you!

After our session, we will plan on a date and time to again meet for your image reveal and purchase session. This is the opportunity to select items included in your collection, and also to add any additional items you might like to treasure! You'll receive a 10% off incentive to order products on reveal day. This is the perfect time to plan on purchasing gifts for your family, images to display at the reception, and even guest books. More importantly, this is our opportunity to work together to talk about how you feel about the images: posing, your self image concerns, and more.

Before the Wedding

I always meet with my clients within the month prior to the wedding day. This is our time to relax, spend some time with one another, and go over any final thoughts to prepare for our time together. During this meeting, we will begin creating a photo list, review (and sometimes even create) your day-of timeline, and go over last minute expectations. I want to be sure everyone is on the same page about what's most important during the day, and that we work together to make sure that your day is captured the way you envision.

After our final in person meeting, I'll follow up with you to make sure that I have a copy of your photo list, and to simply touch base one last time the week of the wedding.

Wedding Day!

My team and I will be caffeinated and ready to create with you on your big day! Any photo request is our pleasure to try to accommodate, so please feel free to let us know what you'd like (this goes for your family and friends, too!). We love encouraging your guests to stay unplugged as much as possible during at least your ceremony so that we can be sure to capture the most important moments during this time. We also encourage to find us to capture any group photos should we be busy capturing another moment.

We will let you know that we are nearing the end of our time together on your wedding day. If you feel that you need us to stay longer at that time, you are more than welcome to make this request. I will explain more about overtime during our meetings.

After the Wedding

The week following the wedding, I will post a few teaser images for you to show off on social media! From these teaser images, many of my clients choose to create thank you cards. Because I do not currently offer thank you cards, I offer up to 5 images to you immediately to use for creating these on your own.

I personally edit an in depth selection from each wedding to be showcased on my blog. The remaining photos are retouched by my photo editor. We ask that you please allow up to 90 total days following the wedding to fully process your final wedding day images. Once the images are ready, it's time to meet for your reveal day!

The Big Reveal

This is the day you've been waiting for, second only to your wedding day! We will get together at a location of your choosing (many of my clients request for me to meet them at their homes, and invite several guests for reveal day), and see your photos together for the first time. I always offer to share wine from my favorite winery, Lynfred Winery. Together, we will watch a showcase of your wedding day images. It'll be up to you if we see all of your images, or a selection.

Our reveal day is also our bonus in person purchasing day. As with your engagement session reveal, this is the only time you'll receive an additional incentive toward any additional photo heirloom purchases (wall art, books, and more) you and your family make. It is my hope that the blog post will help you more quickly choose the images that you love chosen by the time we get together for reveal day.

You'll also receive a care package on reveal day. Included in your care package is this exclusive USB box:

Made of wood, this gorgeous keepsake is finished just like a grand piano. It houses your USB drive, and even has a lock and key! I'll even get you started in filling your new treasure by included a few of my favorite images from your big day.

Album Designing

I encourage album designing to take place shortly after receiving your images. I understand that it can be a daunting process, and do the tough work for you! I'll reveal a starting album design for you online before we again meet (either in person or via skype) to review your wedding story I create especially for you.

When creating an album design, I always start my clients off with my vision of a design. From this design, you can easily add additional pages, swap images, and more. I encourage the design process to take place during daylight hours so that your minds are fresh, and the process remains fun for you.

We will finalize the designing process using sample albums, material swatches, and a 3D configurator to preview your book before we order.

Ultimately, I want each of my clients to feel the excitement and emotion from your wedding day every time you view your album.

Wrapping Up Our Experience

Your albums are being hand crafted in Italy, and take some time to make perfect! Books take approximately 4-6 weeks to create, and are delivered directly to me for a final inspection. We will schedule a time for you to pick up your album and photo heirlooms from my home office. I do also offer the option for insured and tracked shipping via UPS, or personal delivery by myself or one of my team members for an added convenience fee.

See You Later, and Not Goodbye

I love being a part of my clients' lives, and would love to continue working together in capturing your special memories well after the wedding day has come and gone. I offer all of my clients a rewards program, and also have a quarterly newsletter to keep you up to date on my studio. This newsletter will also have special offers for both you and anyone you refer to me.
